GP2X – Bermuda Syndrome

My new port for GP2X (tested on my F200 with Open2X firmware) is Bermuda Syndrome.
This version of Bermuda Syndrome is a re-implementation of the engine used in the original game Bermuda Syndrome made by Century Interactive and published by BMG in 1995.
The original data files are required to play (retail or demo versions).
All the work is done by Gregory Montoir …see the author page at http://cyxdown.free.fr/bs/

I have compiled and changed the code a bit using the modified sources of the Dingux version by DiegoSLTS.

GP2X version controls are :
D-Pad = Move (character and selection in bag/dialogs)
B = Use selected weapon
A = Action, skip dialog/video and selection option in bag/dialog
X = Run and hide weapon
Y = Show bag content and select item
SELECT = Quit game
L = Load game
R = Save game
Vol + = increase save slot
Vol – = decrease save slot

GP2X version is a bit slow but is really playable, plus don’t have volume controls…maybe in future!!

On this version original MIDI music is not working (maybe is not totally implemented by the author ) if you want to have music while playing you have to convert the midi files to 22 Khz stereo Vorbis .ogg files and place it under a dir called “MUSIC” in the main folder of the game.

ITALIANO :

B = Usa l’arma selezionata
A = tasto Azione, Salta i vari dialoghi o video introduttivi
X = Modo corsa e rimette arma nell’inventario
Y = Mostra il contenuto dell’inventario e seleziona articolo
SELECT = Esce dal gioco

GP2X – Wizznic 0.9.9

Wizznic! is an implementation of the arcade classic Puzznic, for Gp2X F100/F200, Wiz, Linux, Windows and Pandora.

Objective:
As the original game, your mission is to clear the level of
bricks, this is done by moving the bricks about, when two or
more bricks of the same kind are next to each other, or on top
of eachother, they will disappear and points will be given.
The level has to be cleared of bricks before the time runs out,
or you will lose a life.

Controls and keys for the GP2X:
D-Pad – Navigate menus, move cursor about.
B – Select item in menu, select brick.
A – Reset level (you have infinite retries, but time won’t be reset)

See the official sources by bartbes at Bitbucket site .
I have recompiled the runtime for GP2X. Thanks to SIENCE (for the Caanoo version ) and BARTBES for this great work.
Like on the Caanoo release, this come with Picklelauncher, so you are able to use this usefull gui/launcher to test all of the love examples easily.

Some of the examples that are included in the archive are :

    snake – Snake Game (work ok)
    npong – Two Player Pong Game (work ok)
    ninwaLovePuzzlev02 – Physic Puzzle Game by Niwa (work but need touch to play)
    Cartesian Cardinal Zap- Game by wacheski 2010 / iterationGAMES.com (don’t work well)
    Sinescroller – scrolling example (work but gfx is messed up)
    hello_demo – Hello World in nlove (work ok)
    passingclouds demo (work ok)

Compiled with the latest (as 06/feb/2011) version of sources by Bartbes, also enabled modplug support, so we are now able to play some more audio formats.
